The smell will be dramatically reduce, when you got into the shower. This might be none of the guy's business, but when you standing waiting the lower facet to turn warm water?  You smell yourself from below coming up to your nose, you too painful to bend down? No, I don't have that your hurt. Discomfer yeah. But the problems are you cannot see, without the eye glasses some reason you open that facet til you touch below or the water running, you are guessing at it, or so blury, or foggy your vision issue?  I don't know what to tell you.
