Salt and a pot of one person pot water.....middle water? or less than that for the instant noodles to just boiled right? You don't need the salt for the instant noodle.

I use the medium exactly the size of your stove - the electric stove that ring size pot, for middle water, for 2 palm can hold pasta. That is all I eat. My hands can hold. 

For the entire box for the guys, every kinds of the left over, that is 4 serving....he all day long eating Pasta? 3/4 pot of that medium water. The package will tell you 10-15 mins, probably 12 mins, or 13, I check, you need to add the salt?

You have those opening like Wal-Mart salt or? on your hands, the middle of your palm draw a circle, that much, dump in. The thumb line internal down, and the line on the small finger, that middle circle roughly, and put in. The pasta will have the taste.
